Abstract
Theme Park is one of the famous attractions that provides leisure, recreational, entertainment and enjoyable experiences to the visitors. It generates income and influence the growth of the country’s economy. This study was conducted to assess the products and services quality that may influence the visitors’ intention to revisit Bukit Merah Laketown Resort in Perak. The objectives of this study are to assess the products and services quality in Bukit Merah and to analyse the relationship between assessment of products and services quality and visitors’ intention to revisit Bukit Merah Laketown Resort. A questionnaire was distributed a total sample of 150 respondents among visitors that have been visited to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort. The results highlighted that the highest mean score for assessment of products and services quality was physical environment which is 3.97, while the lowest mean score was hospitality at 3.84. Correlation analysis found that there was no relationship between visitors’ intention to revisit and the overall assessment of products and services quality. The result from this study highlighted that the visitors’ satisfaction towards the products and services quality does not affect their intention to visit again. The recommendations for improvement in Bukit Merah Laketown Resort are to create more attractive rides, introduce other entertainment, perform regular maintenance, analyse the location and improve the food and beverage sections. Findings in this study can be used by current and responsible parties to determine the products and services quality which is appropriate to be offered to the visitors. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the visitor experience at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort and offers actionable recommendations for improvement. By implementing these suggestions, it also helps to enhance visitor satisfaction and boost the theme park's long-term success.
