Abstract
This study explores the motivations, travel experiences, and perceived satisfaction levels of visitors to Putra Perdana Park, located in the vibrant city of Putrajaya, Malaysia. The park, known for its lush greenery, scenic beauty, and recreational amenities, attracts a diverse range of visitors from different backgrounds and regions. Understanding the factors that drive individuals to visit the park, their experiences, and their overall satisfaction visit are is essential for enhancing visitor engagement and optimizing park management strategies. The data were collected via self-administered questionnaires using Google Form on 154 respondents. The study results show that most visitors were motivated to visit the park for peace and leisure, place to spend time with family and friends. The results also revealed that the number of repeated visitors was lower due to a less satisfying experience at the park. The findings offer valuable insights for park managers, urban planners, and policymakers seeking to enhance visitor experiences, optimize resource allocation, and promote sustainable tourism development in Putra Perdana Park and similar green spaces. Future research endeavours may explore the effectiveness of specific interventions aimed at addressing visitor concerns and enhancing overall park quality.
