Abstract
A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the growth of Centella asiatica under different culture methods which are soil, hydroponics and fertigation system. This study was conducted in netted house, UPMKB. An investigation was carried out to verify growth performance of Centella asiatica in soil, hydroponics and fertigation system. Centella asiatica is a medicinal value plant which widely used in pharmaceutical. This study was conducted under CRD condition and grown under controlled netted house environmental conditions. At the end of this study, the highest biomass, leaf area, root lenght, stem length and chlorophyll content were recorded on plant growth in all the treatments. The highest chlorophyll content and biomass (dry weight) were recorded in soil culture whereas highest leaf area, biomass (fresh weigth), root length and stem length were recorded in hydroponics and fertigation systems. There are lowest value of chlorophyll content were recorded in fertigation system. This study can show the appropriate method to culture Centella asiatica where combination of the method can give high yield.
