Abstract
The adjustment from the Integrated Secondary School Curriculum to the Standard Secondary School Curriculum in Malaysia in 2017 resulted in the renewal and addition of form 4 and 5 physics subjects. Gravity and Quantum Physics are two new subjects that have been introduced. Teachers have been challenged to provide effective teaching tools since the introduction of this new topic. In this study, video -based learning was introduced to enhanced students ’understanding on the topic of quantum physics on 33 respondents which consists of students from SMK Desa Serdang. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of the effectiveness of video -based learning in developing students ’educational experience in the field of quantum physics. Before students start trying video -based learning, pre -tests will be distributed. The implementation of video -based learning showed positive feedback from respondents and a better understanding of the topic. As a conclusion, 23 (69.7%) of the 33 respondents agreed with the statement that video -based learning can actually help them improve their understanding of quantum physics.
