Abstract
This study was conducted in the context of Langkawi and in recognition of the importance of visitor preferences in outdoor recreational activities. This study aimed to identify the demographic characteristics and travel patterns of visitors in Langkawi and to analyze the factors influencing the activity preferences of visitors in Langkawi. A total of 250 respondents actively participated in a questionnaire survey aimed at understanding their perceptions of Langkawi activities. Through multiple regression analysis, it was further revealed that factors such as visitors' companions, gender, income, education attainment, and citizenship significantly impact visitors' activity preferences. These findings help to develop marketing strategies more effectively and optimize tourism products to meet the needs of different groups of visitors.
