Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the biodiversity, species richness and diversity index of macrobenthos at Tanjung Kidurong lagoon. Macrobenthos were collected using Ekman dredge at eight locations from August to October 2007. Water parameters were recorded for each sampling location using hydrolab and a refractometer. Five species of macrobenthos have been to the order level which were Scapophode, Archaegastropoda, Nuculoid, Pterioida and Solemyoida. From this study, only Scapophode had diverse (H ≥ l.000) among order. There was only one location that fully diverse (H ≥ l.000), which means that all five orders had been found in that sampling site. Meanwhile there were no location that diverse evenJy (121.000). A diversity was presence in the third sampling.
