Abstract
To overcome the problems encountered by the SRI practitioners in Malaysia. An SRI tray was produced where it was proven to be the solution for the SRI problem. However, for the tray to be fully implemented in Malaysia, the tray requires a pusher mechanism to push the media from the tray. The project studies the different type of mechanism that is suitable to push the media from the tray, mainly translating rotational motion into linear motion and Scotch-Yoke mechanism was chosen as it gives the simplest form and ease of operation. The relationship between rotational motion and the linear motion was found to be directly proportional where 180ᵒ of rotation translates into 7.5 cm of linear displacement.
